    The game will kickoff at 5 p.m. CT and is available to be streamed live on ESPN+

    Coming off a dominant 49-14 victory over Ohio on Thursday, Louisiana Football will travel to Statesboro, Ga. to begin Sun Belt Conference play against Georgia Southern on Saturday at 5 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

    With a 19-7 record, head coach Billy Napier enters the contest in search of his 20th conference win. In his tenure, Louisiana is 2-1 in Sun Belt openers.

    The two teams have met four times previously, with the Ragin' Cajuns holding a 3-1 series advantage including a perfect 2-0 record in Statesboro.

    Louisiana has been stellar away from Cajun Field as of late, compiling four straight wins over conference opponents and holding an 11-1 road record overall in the last two seasons.

    Last year, the two programs faced off in a thriller as Louisiana placekicker Nate Snyder drilled a 53-yard field goal as time expired to give Louisiana a 20-18 win.

    Georgia Southern sits at 1-2 on the season after a season-opening victory over Gardner-Webb and subsequent losses at Florida Atlantic and Arkansas.

    When the UL Ragin’ Cajuns lost at Texas in the season opener, it ended an impressive run of road success that coach Billy Napier’s program is eager to recapture against Georgia Southern at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
