There's not a whole lot around the stadium so make sure you stock up on tailgate supplies before parking. There's a Rouses grocery store about 5-10 minutes from campus. Great beer selection and good hot foods

Not much to see or do on campus or around the stadium (except tailgate) so I recommend hanging out downtown on Dauphin Street at least until early afternoon. I suggest lunch at Wintzells, Debris Po Boys or Loda Bier Garten. Enjoy the day then head to stadium.

If you have kids, Heroes Sports Bar across from the stadium has a nice outdoor play area where kids run around and throw the football. Good place to spend a few hours, tons of tvs, good food and drinks.

Holiday Inn is a great place to stay for the game.
About a mile walk to the stadium.

The reason I mention going downtown is with a 7pm kick I think visiting fans would have more fun hanging out at downtown balcony bars, visiting breweries, relaxing in the squares or visiting the USS Alabama. Heck I'd look at checking out Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island if weather is nice.

There's just not much to do on or near campus unless you want to tailgate all day.

Campus will really start getting active around 2pm
