    Default TV Viewing vs Ohio

698,000 total viewers. All things considered, not bad. Came in as #14 ranked cable show on Thursday Night.

I wonder how that compares to ratings of other Thursday night games.

Don't think there is one listed for Thursday 9/9. Could our game have been the first of the season?

Week 1 had some Thursday games. Week 2 didn’t because of nfl week 1.

I agree, not bad. Room to improve, sure, but I think we are a growing brand. Need to continue winning, big if we can. That's been a challenge for us, to not play down to the other team.

App has a ESPN mid week game this week App vs Marshall. That will be an interesting number. If we both go into that game undefeated, could be a huge number on 10/12. Will know more once ratings for this week are posted, for now, could be a 900,000 total viewer game.

    Signed, Mr. TV

I stand corrected...with each team having 1 loss...

Well, here’s some stats the Ohio week and back. Yeah, our weekday game was up against the NFL. But given the choice of having our product out there on ESPN and not “live-streamed on FB” or another platform I’ll go with the mothership. CUSA watching has become college football’s version of FansOnly.

Just in case you think our branding efforts have not paid off:

Three SBC teams have games ranked sufficiently high that viewership is shown on the charts linked to by the OP; UL, Coastal and Ap. Ap's brand has been national since the 2007 Michigan game, Coastal has been the darlings of the media for the last two seasons.

Each of the three teams has two ranked games. UL's two garnered 3,577,000 viewers.
Coastal's two had 1,584,000 viewers. Ap's two had 640,000 viewers.

More telling is the fact that UL/Ohio is the third most viewed game [of the 6 involving SBC teams] with 698,000 viewers; while Coastal/Buffalo [285K] and Ap/ECU [245K] combined for only 530,000 viewers.
