Schools are open. The problem is drainage. Cecilia High School Rd is flooding this morning and school lets out in a few hours. In Loreauville, all retention ponds at the elementary were full before students were brought to school. The problem isn't having the kids at school, the problem is getting them home on flooded roads.

This. Some places in Lafayette Parish, all it takes is heavy rain for an hour (highly likely with this system) and some roads are underwater.

Hoping all of you stay high and dry! Seems like the best play would be moving the game to Saturday.

I agree how much rain does it take to shut down air traffic will be the big question? Another issue is many hotels are still booked with evacuees from Ida. Would they kick them out in order to honor Ohio's reservation?

What happens if the weather prevents the game from being played on Thursday night. Logic says it gets moved to Saturday but ESPN may not like that.

The safety of human beings must be paramount here. espn can kiss my grits if they don't like it.

I understand it's a money thing. But I wish everything didn't revolve around Woke ESPN. It makes sense to move the game to Saturday.

I understand this point. I did not state my question well. Obviously if weather safety is still an issue, the game won't be played Thursday. Would ESPN try to get involved so as they would still have influence to when the rescheduled game would be played? Note the game was supposed to be on the ESPN flagship. Obviously the schedule of both teams would have to be considered. Perhaps the game gets played Saturday and gets moved to something like ESPNU. The + is perhaps the most likely option.
