That might be the story for THIS game. We did not look prepared for Nicholls. And to top it off game adjustments on D in particular were lacking. That’s the coaching staff’s job and they failed.
Good part is I think we all believe that will be fixed and quickly. I hope ………
Poor third down results are due to not being able to handle scrambling quarterbacks. That is more of a factor than scheme in my view. Now, can we adjust in those situations going forward is a legitimate question. I grant that scheme may have to be tweaked slightly to address that issue.
If I did nothing but read comments and forums, I’d think Saturday was the worst disaster in the history of our program.
