The man who was shot by Lafayette Police for allegedly shooting at them Sunday night has been released on $7,500 bond. 15th Judicial Court Commissioner Thomas Frederick found no probable cause to hold 33 year old Carey Boseley (left) on the attempted first degree murder charge stemming from the incident. Boseley posted $5,000 bond for illegal use of a dangerous weapon, and $2,500 for possession of cocaine.
"No, he did not fire at that officer, I doubt seriously he pointed a gun at him," said Boseley's neighbor Pat Brasseaux.
