If you guys are looking for something to do this afternoon, weather is supposed to be nice. The girls’ record is 663 for attendance. They are trying to break that record tonight.
My family will be out there. Let’s go support them against the Refineryville River Rats..
Really hoping for a good result, and I know it’ll take coach a few years to get this program where he wants it.
But lsu is looking really good this year, hopefully this one stays close.
Well, good things happen when you put the ball on frame sometimes. Beat SLU.
Got shut out by Houston, but multiple shots on goal. I know, still a loss, but things were looking bleak the matches prior to SLU.
Just read that a group of students have started up a student section for soccer and I’m assuming tonight is the first night. Calling it the bayou brigade.
We desperately need some hooligan energy at the pitch. Hope it catches on.
Does anyone know how to watch on tv? Also, what time is the game?
Tonight at 7 pm! Let’s Geaux!

Well they’re USLing it at the game. Me and daughter are about 100th in line at concessions. 2 people working. Looks like the attendance record will be shattered, and then never touched again. I’ve been in line for 10 minutes and can’t even see the concession stand yet.
How can this school time and time again look so unprepared for a larger crowd.
Back home in my recliner drinking a beer watching the game with the wife and kids.
Thanks UL for the great family experience. Try not to screw up my Saturday night as well!!!
PS being down 3-0 had nothing to do with us leaving. I didn’t see any of them.
I’m not surprised. Women’s soccer could outdraw MBB.
For all the great progress we’ve done, we consistently lack in game day experience. Specifically concessions and non-game experience.
I’ve been to soccer matches before with a lot less people and 1 worker. Does this university not communicate with whoever is in charge of concessions and let them know when there will be larger crowds.
It did outdraw MBB tonight. As much as it stings, Jacob81 is correct. You can’t invite the city and then have 2 people working concessions. No idea how they’ll count attendance because no scanners or counters at the door.
Atmosphere was great. Hosting wasn’t so great.
However, I don’t think they expected this turnout. Pretty solid.
2,373 announced crowd...
We cannot have one damn thread without some MBB shot. It's old as grandma's diaper in the nursing home.
I agree with you guys, but please give it a rest.
