Are they talking about the field ACROSS Congress from CF?

    From your link:

The parking lot, which is located on West Congress Street across from Cajun Field, will open eight hours prior to kickoff on game day.

People will still complain about parking WAY on the other side of Congress and having to WALK across the street. Too much trouble. They'll just stay home and watch on TV if they have to do ALL THAT.

Go to Austin and then they can complain. People just don’t get it.

When we went to the Aggie game a few years ago to see my nephew (who is in the Aggie band) we had to park at least a half a mile away and still pay (I think it was 15 bucks, but it has been a while.) I will say this, in the Baldwin days parking in most of CF parking was free... and their were plenty of spots available.

This should take care of those that are just coming to games now and then. No more parking complaints.

Now just make some badass sky ridge across Congress. Connecting our entertainment district to the stadium. Greatly enhancing the atmosphere around Cajun Field.

    ….oh wait

It helps. That was a long cited reason for why some casual fans would not come. “Parking too expensive or difficult.” It’s so nit picky, but hey, hopefully removing even a tiny barrier like that will draw more.
