Texas is more talented at the skill positions than we are. But we were a very dangerous team for them.
Going in I thought we would have to do exactly what they did to us. Have the ability to play keep away. Not allow Bijan or Card to get into rhythm.
Instead our offense failed to execute when the game was close. Which left our defense on the field too long.

The No. 1 concern after the first game is the passing game didn’t make any progress.
A year ago, the story was a young, depleted receiving corps was the reason.
This season, the talent and the depth were upgraded dramatically. It's time to see progress in that area.
