Card looked incredible.

That he did!! He was poised, confident, ran effectively and threw into tight spaces . Like I said before , I thought Colt Mccoy was playing .

He is that indeed. And Card was damn good as well. I think that will make a lot of noise this season. And I really hope that turns out to be true.

And our lack of film on Card and their new players didn't help. With all our returnees there is plenty of film. Especially on Levi. Their defensive game plan to rattle him worked. Our offense became stymied afterwards

So I agree with all the kudos given here to card. I knew we were in deep do-do when, despite the fact that we sacked him….what, 4-5 times?…., he just kept going and going, and the sacks never really effected the game. That says a whole lot more about him than us. But you are right: if they don't do something about their o-line they could be in trouble further in the season.

I, for one hope Texas wins the conference this year. If they have their usual, 8-4, 7-5 type season, then we are a lot further away from being a true top-25 team than we thought we were.

Problem is LL is the 5 or 6th ranked QB in the belt ... a lot of schools went out and got stud signal callers. Napier love for him blinds him to his inability.

This is our two fold problem. We have 20 out of 22 back from last year. But the 2 we lost are now playing on Sundays.

Everyone else in the league upgraded via the portal. This is going to haunt us.
