In days past, we would have all been giddy with that kind of result. I think we have a chance to keep it close if we win the turnover battle and play largely mistake-free football.

I definitely understand this thought process. I'm worried about us finally having to deal with expectations. This hasn't been the case before. Receiver still worries me a bit and not sure which backs are going to step up. Not to mention Levi needs to elevate his game. Only time will tell.

I don't think that they are requiring anything from the fans. Texas is wide open, I was their last week, although Austin is a different place than the rest of Texas, politically, but I do believe it will be somewhat open.

Their new MLS soccer club is playing in front of packed houses. Not sure on the vaccination or testing criteria required by the fans but they are full.

What kills me is the constant downplaying of our ISU win. As if ISU just so happened to have had a 'bad day,' which we had to part of. And last I heard, ST points count just as much as all the other points. For all those texas 'smarts' they are supposed to have, they sure got those two things wrong.

And special teams is part of the game is it not? Virginia tech built a powerhouse with special teams, the ravens Broncos and bucs won super bowls with no offense..it’s all part of the game

I mean…one or two of those goofs seem to be taking my prediction of Levi throwing 12 TD passes seriously.

Guess I left out the part where he took a zone read carry from our own 8 yard line, ran down to their 1, then took a knee. We then ran the clock out. Poor Levi could have had a 13th accounted for TD, but we all know 13 is an unlucky number. He didn’t want that.
