I havent read the thread yet, but Napier can be too conservative with his play calling against good teams. not wanting to make any mistakes, he dont take any chances down field. 3rd down defense was just sad. gave up too many 3rd and longs. There was a noticeable difference in the way the 2 coaches that are both play callers, called the plays for their team. Freshman QB for Texas didnt connect on any deep passes, but he attempted at least 5. keep us honest.

Running game is key. OL couldn’t get it done against to really good LBs. they’re better than us. They were better prepared. No team we play from now on is better than Texas. Nichols looking pretty good. Best get ready.
