    If you don't mind a little adventure and grittiness check out Sam's BBQ on the east side. Some of the best I've ever had. Don't mind the neighborhood or the building ��

    If OP stops at Feges for lunch in Houston, he has no reason to bother with the 3+ hour line at Franklin's.

    Feges meat is excellent. I don’t care for any of their sauces. Smoked turkey is the best I’ve had, burnt ends were good but the sauce is too sweet for my taste so I didn’t care for them. Pork rind nachos are a great gut bomb. The brisket on that was great. Kale salad is also excellent
