The deal with Cam is this, what makes Cam special throwing the ball is what he can do with his legs. Cam is an average at best drop back QB, Cam's biggest attribute was the ability to keep the play going and the threat that he could run that opened up the passing game. Once Cam was injured and older it took away his biggest strength, once that happened he became a subpar QB. It is what makes Taysom Hill so intriguing to the Saints, once Taysom is not a threat anymore as a runner, he is no longer such a valued commodity. Mike Vick went through this as well.

Steve Young, Randall Cunningham, Russell Wilson and to some extent Lamar Jackson are different because they are/were better than average passers (at least to the point with their accuracy.).

Also, keep in mind, guys waived right now still have a shot to come back on the active roster or practice squad if they clear waivers. Because of the short term IR rule, teams have to carry anyone that is going on that short term IR through the 53 cut. Once the 53 is set, they can then assign those guys to short term IR and sign guys to fill their roster spot.

So far looks like the only one not really set is Ragas. Others havent been outright confirmed but very likely (Ringo in, Wallace out)
