Best breakdown of the Sunbelt West, anywhere
Best breakdown of the Sunbelt West, anywhere
Thank you, Dave does a great job. I am just along for the ride. Tomorrow night we will record the Cajuns segment and the Texas game.
Don't kid yourself MelRock, you make it easy. These are really fun discussions because most of it is light, we just go back and forth talking football. I think for both of us that is pretty easy, specifically when we are talking about something we both have a little knowledge of. Tomorrow nights will be fun, because we will be talking more about the Cajuns. I suggest if you have not had a chance to listen in yet, give it a shot.
Enjoyed the listen guys. Small nitpick for Dave though when discussing USA. Tolbert was definitely their best WR last year as he was second in league in yards and led USA. He's a beast. If he started out as their #2 he didn't stay in that spot long.
Understood, you are correct about Tolbert, but remember that team also had Kawaan Baker who is on the Saints roster. Baker and Tolbert were 1A and 1B for USA.
These numbers for both were excellent.
Tolbert had 64 catches 1085 yards 8 TD's
Baker had 51 659 yards and 8 TD's.
The two made up 16 of their 18 receiving TD's, that is 89% and 1744 of their 2719 receiving yards, that is 64%. They also made up 115 of their 219 total receptions, which was 52%. They were both pretty good.
I agree Tolbert is a beast and will be good again, Baker ended the season as the leading receiver in USA history, by the way Tolbert enters the season at #3 just about 200 yards behind Baker. He will surpass Baker as long as he stays healthy this year.
