My brother, that scenario would be tragic Indeed.

It's really too bad the food here is so terrible because it is a cool place, in a great location, with a good bar. The "BBQ" is probably the worst I've ever had, and I really wanted to like it.

First time I went there, I was really disappointed. I went back about a 6 weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised as it was really good.

I agree with fish…..the first time I was, I wouldn’t say disappointed but it wasn’t what I was expecting. The future visits have proven to me that’s it’s damn good grub.

As evidenced by how packed the place always is. We went for the first time about 10 days after it opened. Food was average. Since then, 8-10 times and haven't had a single bad experience.

I've given it 3 chances, all terrible. Last time there I asked the waiter where they "smoked" the meat because it was presented and tasted like it came out of a toaster oven. He said there is an electric smoker out back. Hwat?

Maybe it's time to give it another shot.

I’ve eaten BBQ all over in my travels. Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina. Pretty much everywhere I’ve traveled. Tchoups is right up there with many places I’ve eaten.

Nuttin worse than paying $80 at a casino for some celebrity chef only to get some bland ash BBQ. If Man-about-Truly wants to buy me a rack I ain't gonna complain if its a little dry. 🤣 Just keep feeding me some J-Mo and I'm a happy camper
