Louisiana football on verge of best season in school history?

Louisiana football’s 2020 season was a roaring success on many fronts.

The Ragin’ Cajuns won 10 games and got a share of the Sun Belt title, and they bring back 21 starters from that team and head coach Billy Napier turned down multiple jobs in the SEC to come back to Lafayette to try and have a season for the ages.

I don't disagree with you. It's instilled in us after all the previous mess.

First season under Hud, another "great" season, get hyped up for that LA Tech game at home, and get laughed out of our own stadium. It's what it is.

Ask some other programs that have had high expectations in the past. Every loss feels like you've given something away. Like your season is spoiled. It's scary to set such high expectations...…..but on the other hand, I'll gladly take any hype over no hype at all. We've been on the other end of this far too many times in the past. Enjoy the moment.

Even if things go off the rail, it has been a great 12 months!!!

This season is actually Napier’s biggest challenge to date. Coaching a team with high expectations and talent isn’t easy…especially at the first hiccup.
