An early morning crash on North University about a half mile north of Pont Des Mouton caused northbound traffic backups this morning. The vehicles have been cleared and the roadway is open. Police, ambulance, and fire crews responded to the accident that may have involved two or more vehicles. Injuries were reported. No word on the extent of the injuries or the cause of the accident , but fog was in the area at the time of the crash.
