Thread: Ragin Cajuns Store

    Default Ragin Cajuns Store

The website says a new location for the store is coming soon at the Heritage Apartments at Johnston St. & E. Lewis. Nothing says big-time athletics like a doublewide. Let's hope they are not just moving the trailer over there. We can't get rid of that eyesore soon enough.

I think the bottom floor of the Heritage Apartments retail outlet on the corner has always been vacant.

I hope that is the new location

I saw some stirring around in the retail space at the corner of Lewis and Johnston the last time I passed by.

Whatever. At least it gave me a place to shop close to my office. It was a temporary building on a temporary space for a temporary time.

Yes, I understand the frustration at the aesthetics of the exterior of the current building at Blackham, but the reality is that is an awesome store, with a great selection and in a great location. I would think that they will close the one at Blackham once the on Lewis opens.

And I wonder if this is not the first step of swapping the Fire Station on St. Julien to on/along CD Blvd?

We’ve gotten to know one of the employees there pretty well. Don’t know if she is The manager or assistant manager, but my wife was talking to her and I’m pretty sure I overheard her say they would be moving to the storefront over on Lewis soon.

By the way, I think the fall line might be in. Was in two weeks ago for my granddaughters first shopping spree and it look like there was New stuff in.

I hope it has similar square footage to the temporary one or more

Yeah, they are all super nice, and usually very helpful. If I remember right, when they had first moved in I had asked if it was temporary until the Lewis St location was done....I think they had said at that time they had scrapped the Lewis location, and that they would keep up the one on CD Blvd.

Entire storefront will be in the retail section of the apartments on first floor. No more mobiles for us.

With “prime storefront location” may come “prime merchandise prices”

I think I understood the fire station will be behind Blackham. Don’t think the two events are related.
