Had this rule been in effect last year, it suggest that there may have been a totally different result in the determination of SBC champion.
The Covid Chickens would have either had to play or forfeit.
In other words, the Commissioner could not have condoned cheating to advance the cause of the Covid Chickens.
Under what conditions do you have to forfeit? 2 or more guys out with Covid? A coach out with Covid like Coastal last year? If you have say 3 starters out, do you have to forfeit or do you just use substitutes and play the game? Wouldn't 2nd teamers step up and play in that scenario or does the whole team go into quarantine and forfeit the game?
I have a bad feeling about what is about to happen again with Covid shutdowns, restrictions, and cancellations.
Do we really think we will be at 100% capacity at Cajun Field the way things are going?
Looks like another Covid hampered football season.
I would not be surprised if SBC changes course and requires vaccinated players to get tested as well and thus therefore finding more positives even if asymptomatic and can lead to cancelled games. Hint hint NC State
Crap!
