I would think the Big 12 would be done. West Virginia would go to the ACC and Kansas would go to the Big East and drop football. Iowa State and Kansas State to the B1G and maybe OK State. The remaining school probably invite Houston and Memphis and a few other school and be a AAC west

Everyone will be moving around so who knows. We have to keep wining if we want our name up there and that starts in Austin.

If this happens, you will never hear about other conferences in the media.

Big 12 will be dead, like the Big East was. SBC could actually get stronger and add some of their leftovers. SBC is in a lot better position than years past but it will take for SBC to stay in tack. The schools that left for CUSA actually helped the SBC. We gained some good conference foes in App, Coastal, GA Southern, GA state. Maybe this time we can actually poach up cause of our position.
Cusa is an absolute dumpster fire. Time will tell.

just putting a list of good candidates together. its Cincinnati, UCF, BYU, Bosie St, Memphis, SMU, Houston, Louisiana, USF. Dont think it would get past this group to anyone else.

Big 12 could take Houston and Cincinnati and stay at 10 or add Memphis and SMU, possibly get Missouri back or even Arkansas..Boise even, but I promise you the big 12 is not dead...a whole lot of trickle down will happen before that and they still don’t be the ones to die

You guys are stepping off the deep end here. Our best trajectory based upon our current status as an athletic program is the AAC. This comes from people involved in National Branding and working alongside Aresco and the AAC. Nothing that has been discussed today changes our status the next 5 to 7 years. What happens 10 to 12 years down the road is anyone's guess today.

Stay focused on the mission long term. 1) Continue to increase your funding and revenue sources, Complete your stadium upgrades. 2) Attain Tier 1 status.

...We have been given a huge challenge with our schedule... but we need have crowds.... this team could be better than the '65 team(kidding)..... but we need to get the Acadiana area behind us.... Letting schools and businesses off at 12 o'clock and other incentives like a new car for a student.... what else???

I'm thinking French language radio broadcasts in Senegal. That should do it.

BINGO. Just have to be ready for when it’s time to move, be it today or 10 years from now. Tier 1 is so important when it comes time to go. Sooner the better.

If Texas/OK bolt from the B12, the only way the other B12 schools keep close to same revenues is joining either Pac 12, or B10 or ACC. Can't see them hanging in unless no other choice. This could get complicated. Could create a growth opportunity for UL somehow.

  15. Default ESPN 1420 Report: Texas & Oklahoma Interested in Joining SEC

Could the SEC become the first super conference? Two prestigious programs could be on their way to the SEC.
