    Wow, I would have thought that Conner would have gone before Spencer, but very happy for Spencer and really happy to see him as an Astro.

    Neither of these pitchers were in the weekend starting rotation at the beginning of the season and together they won but 14 games.

    That’s more of an indictment on the people making decisions for this program..

    Certainly not intended to be an indictment but more of an observation that 18 wins were from the efforts of other pitchers and thus hopefully there remains much in the til to work with towards next years success.
