Billy Napier and his Louisiana coaching staff landed a commitment from one of the state’s top quarterbacks Tuesday night when Baton Rouge (La.) Madison Prep Academy’s Zeon Chriss announced his pledge to the Ragin Cajuns.

yes, crazy amount of competition, but the bigger spotlight is how many current freshman (4 scholarship) are on the roster. you have to plan for at least 2 of them to transfer out before their eligibility is all said and done. now another young talented gun being added behind them. exciting times with all the quality depth at the most important position.

IMO he wont play exclusively at QB

We are showing 8 QB’s currently on the roster and Levi the only senior. I know they aren’t on all scholarship but that seems like a lot

When the UL coaching staff watched new commitment Zeon Chriss play quarterback for Madison Prep, they saw an electric athlete with a similar skill set as current Ragin' Cajuns QB Levi Lewis.

"The coaches felt I would fit into their system very well," said Chriss, who verbally committed to UL on Tuesday.

under NIL are student athletes allowed to “team up” with or work in same ad campaign with pro athletes…. esp. on a local level, as Zeon and Zion could have a nice ring to it. im sure someone could up with something clever with those two.
