Mayeux is at the top of the Florida league in home runs with 6. Also top 5 in rbi, batting average, on base and slugging percentage. She is really setting the league on fire. Nice to see this kids hard work paying off. Very positive news for the program.

Great to see that, she is a very hard worker, and is a vital part of our team. Do you know how competitive that league is, and what the talent level is?

MM never seemed real comfortable at the plate this past season. She rarely worked long counts against the better arms. She only hit .243 for average with 107 ABs. She did have only 10 SO's, but only 13 BB's. She needs to improve so happy to hear the good news from Florida.

There is always a naysayer in every thread. This is about what she is doing now that may translate into Cajun production next year, not why she was somewhat limited in playing time last year.

May this young lady continue to improve and become a player that commands ultimate playing time on a Cajun's softball field this coming year.
