The St. Landry School Board backed principals’ practice of lowering students’ grades as a disciplinary measure.
Ribbon was cut on Joyce’s Dress and Uniform Shop. Owners are Mr. and Mrs. John Deshotels. The Generation III Shop has opened in the Louis Wright Store. Joanie Kerstein will manage the shop. Payless Family Shoes, managed by Roy Robin, has opened in the George Clements Shopping Center.
