I should have said currently playing summer ball for the Cane Cutters. Also playing on the Cane Cutters this summer are Willis, Menard and Higgs.

No problem, I understood what you meant.

    Postgraduate Transfer Eligibility
Q12: What criteria does a student-athlete who has graduated with their baccalaureate degree need to meet to be eligible as postgraduate student at another Division I school?
A12: A student-athlete who graduates with remaining athletics eligibility may be eligible as a full-time postgraduate student at another Division I school provided they meet the one-time exception criteria, including providing a written request to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal to their current school by July 1, 2021.
Q13: What if the student-athlete transferred previously from another four-year school as an undergraduate student?
A13: Generally, a student-athlete who has previously transferred from another four-year school would not be able to use the one-time exception as a postgraduate transfer. However, a waiver process exists for postgraduate students with a previous transfer history.

Some guys not returning aren't in the portal.

To the best of my knowledge this is accurate, though it's possible I'm missing someone.
Last report UL had 14-16 players entering the transfer portal. Not sure if that number is completely accurate but has anyone done the research and compared out exodus of players to other in state universities? Is our number consistent with others?

Yes. I didn't list him because I expect him to go in the draft. His return is a possibility if he doesn't get picked. Cooke is a shoo in to get picked and he'll sign, I'm sure.

Eleven players are in the portal as of June 29th.

    Three players have graduated.
One did not play last year after transferring from Texas State.
One had already left to get ready for the MLB draft.

You have to remember because of the expanded roster, we had 7 extra players. So while this seemed great at the time, it also cut in some of their playing time.

The roster will be back to 35 next season, and we have a very large class coming in next year. The class is a good mixture of JUCO and high school kids. What most do not realize is that Jake Wells took over the main recruiting role this past season. I do not know how much that will change with the type of players we are attracting, but it was obvious a change needed to occur.

Those who are leaving on their own or those that were cut, I wish them all the best.

In the Portal 2101 players, 493 have graduated.

    Nichols 4
    Louisiana State 6
Louisiana Polytechnic Institute @ Ruston 4
    Southeastern 9
    Southern 5
    UNO 9
    McNeese 2
    Northwestern State 5
    ULM 2

    App State 9
    Coastal 8
    Georgia Southern 6
    Georgia State 5
    Arkansas State 7
    Little Rock 8
    Texas State 6
    UTA 3
    South AL 6
    Troy 6

101 players from SEC schools, including 27 from the three teams ranked number 1 this season. Arkansas has 8, Moo State 15, and Vanderbilt 3.

Good list. Richey ended up at UIW, so no big loss.

Cooke turned himself into the most pro-ready pitcher on the team, a very cool, durable strike thrower that rarely gets rattled. He had 2nd most innings pitched and a miniscule team-best batting avg. against (0.157) and not by a little bit.
