He is. And they are good ... excellent pitching, the usual defense, and more offensive capability than typical over the last 15 or so years. But there are a number of teams that can win this.

I am intrigued by Stanford. Played well down the stretch and did not lose a series all season (even vs. league champion Arizona). Consecutive losses only once. They can really swing it, play excellent defense, and while they do not have some of the arms you will see featured in the CWS, they have seven guys to rely on ... including a solid pair of starters that can beat anyone.
