St. Mary Parish Daily Incident Log - March 22, 2010:
Pavel J. Sanchez 33 yoa of 137 Houma Dr., Charenton was arrested on 3-19-2010 at 1:31 pm on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of No Driver’s License. Suspect turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $248.50 cash bond and was later released.




On 3-19-2010 at 12:00 pm a Juvenile Male 15 yoa of Patterson was arrested on a warrant for Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling. Juvenile was arrested after an investigation of a 1-29-2010 incident where above juvenile was located in a residence on
213 Hemlock St.in Patterson. Juvenile was placed under arrest, processed and released to guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.





Andrea Verrett 25 yoa of 103 Issac St., Franklin was arrested on 3-20-2010 at 10:07 am for Simple Battery. Deputy was called to
200 Thomas St.in Franklin in reference a disTurbinece. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from complainant that above suspect was following her while she was walking home cursing and harassing her, when her daughter came out of the residence and attempted to stop the disTurbinece when suspect committed a battery upon her. After investigation Deputy went to suspect’s residence and conducted an investigation with her. After investigation she was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and was later released.





Barbara Geoffroy 67 yoa of 136 Mars St., Bayou Vista was arrested on 3-20-2010 at 1:03 pm on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Deputy was called to above location in reference a complaint. During investigation it was learned of a warrant for above suspect’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 5-26-2010.




Kevin Diggs 30 yoa of 161 Roy’s Lane, Centerville was arrested on 3-20-2010 at 1:48 pm on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Criminal Neglect of Family. Suspect was located in the Centerville area, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $5103.00 bond at this time.




Kayla N. Rowland 21 yoa of
730 Teche RoadApt. A., Bayou Vista was arrested on 3-20-2010 at 6:02 pm on a warrant for Theft. Suspect turned herself into the Sheriff’s Office after learning of a warrant for her arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and was later released.





Jonathan L. Romero 26 yoa of 1700 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista was arrested on 3-20-2010 at 7:03 pm on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Resisting an Officer. Deputy was patrolling the Bayou Vista area when he located above suspect on
Arlington Roadand learned of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and was later released.





Denita Johnson 20 yoa of 1012 Joseph St., Morgan City was arrested on 3-20-2010 at 11:04 pm for Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated. Deputy was called to above location in reference a disTurbinece. Upon deputy’s arrival above suspect was located yelling and causing a disTurbinece. Deputy asked suspect to speak with him when he observed suspect to be intoxicated. Suspect continued to yell and curse after being told to calm down. Suspect refused and was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $250.00 bond and was later released.




Pedro R. Ramos 24 yoa of
402 Halsey St. # 5, Morgan City was arrested on 3-21-2010 at 2:33 am for Operating a Vehicle without Lawful Presence in the United States, No Insurance, and Unlawful Possession of Fraudulent Documents. Deputy was called to Sandi’s Bar and Grill in reference to an accident in the parking lot. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from complainant that she was leaving the above location when she observed suspect vehicle back into another vehicle. Complainant advised she detained the suspect and contacted the Sheriff’s Office. During investigation it was learned by Deputy that suspect had no insurance or valid driver’s license. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.





Michael Ashley 39 yoa and Michelle Ashley 40 yoa both of 121 Calumet Cut Lane, Franklin were arrested on 3-21-2010 at 3:32 pm for Theft by Shoplifting. Deputy was called to Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference to shoplifters. Upon Deputy’s arrival store security advised that above suspects were observed taking items and concealing them on their persons. Michael was found to have two fishing reels valued at $45.92 and Michelle having clothing valued at $28.00. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and issued summons to appear in court on 5-26-2010.




Darrell Schannette 40 yoa of 881 St. Peter St., Jeanerette was arrested on 3-21-2010 at 9:09 pm for Disturbing the Peace, Resisting and Officer and Misrepresentation During Booking. Deputy was called to above location in reference a disTurbinece. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from complainant that her son was causing a disTurbinece in the residence. While Deputy was attempting to speak with complainant suspect was yelling, cursing and throwing items around the residence. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
