All season long, it’s almost like UL baseball coach Matt Deggs was trying to speak it into existence.

“Fast, hard and loose,” he’d say.

That’s the aggressive offensive approach some of his better teams possessed in his career — including the memorable 2014 Ragin’ Cajuns squad.

The Cajuns have to get back to the AAIT standards, pack baseball.

Quote, "Not where this program needs to be", coach Deggs, Unquote. Had a lot to say where the players need to be, but not a word on where the coaching staff should be. That's where it starts. Should have said, "we need to do a better job as a coaching staff. It starts at the top".

Too bad Lada was not sent and maybe, just maybe we would still be playing today instead of having discussions on the talent level of the players and coaches. Oh well.
