We will see if Alexander can go 7 more innings. JMU had some runners just never really got the key hits besides the homerun.

She was looking very gased after getting hit in the foot at the plate. She will need a couple of good shots to try and compete at her usual level. I don’t see it happening. I think they took their shot in the first game knowing they needed to just win that one.

This was my point I made about great pitching vs great hitting in another thread. You cant let great hitting teams continue to see your great pitcher, at some point they will figure her out.

Most great pitchers do not pitch just about every inning of every game. Alexander is running on fumes.
