Fun fact, OkSt had 3 All-Americans selected from their squad this season...all 3 transfers. Nationally UL gets all the hate for being a transfer landing spot but it’s what has made OSU so successful these last few years.

How do you build a WCWS softball team these days? Of course signing top high school talent is still paramount, but many teams are using the transfer portal to bring in program changing players.

what is the rationale behind giving teams friday off just to have them play two on saturday?

is it just to keep the 2&Q teams/fans there a day longer for revenue?

    Who you got today?

    JMU vs OK?
    BAMA vs FSU?

If JMU and BAMA win the first game they move on to the championship series. OK and FSU would need to win twice today to advance.

I think FSU run will end today, especially if Fouts is on. She has to much speed and movement.

I'm thinking Fouts does not pitch in the first game today. Murph, I think, is going to go with Kilfoyl.

Concerning Oklahoma-JMU, if Oklahoma jumps on Alexander in the first three innings, and scores four or more runs, I think they have to pull her and save her for the second game.

It is possible Bama could try to win G1 without Fouts to give her extra rest.

JMU will have to pull her if they fall behind as they really have nothing behind her.
