Dumb coaching? Really? A player who can't get a bunt down with three attempts should maybe be on the bench. How can you blame it on the coach? It was a right call.

Bobby has struggled getting the bunt down all year. If he should have been on the bench, that’s coaching.

Because the probability that you get a hit or advance the runners swinging away against a pitcher like Nick Jones with an 0-2 count is lower than attempting the bunt. There is also the additional downside that you can hit into a double play. I have no problem with the call. Just need to execute when you have three chances.
