I looked at his stats - pretty good. If he trains harder, we'll hear more about him.

Tough loss, he was pretty good. How come we barely heard anything about the team and their schedule this fall? Does it have something to do with the new HC?

If you think the transfer portal effects other sports. Think about tennis. Rarely do these kids come from the us. So it is no big deal if you are from Bulgaria to move to Oregon. This happens every season. The way college tennis works is many of these European players are playing on pro tours in Europe or Australia or other places. They find out after a while they are not going to go “pro” in their home country. So they get recruited to play college tennis in the US. Once here they can get a college degree, work on their tennis game for free and potentially transfer to a bigger school if they have some success at a lower level. This is not at option in their home country. If they improve enough they can try to go pro. If they don’t they get a free education. It’s a win win.
