It could possibly be the case of scholarship funding in the case of the seniors. We may be committed to scholarships for the large incoming HS class that would make it tough to extend seniors after this year.

I am not so sure she was the future at shortstop. In my mind she had a shot at 2nd base along with Mayeau.
