Cajuns were set up to make a WCWS run last year.

To all of you posters who said the Cajuns have no fight in them, I think you all owe each of the players an apology.

    FRENCHIE, you can go first.

    So much for needing depth.
Won’t carry a team to a national championship. Those days are gone, have to have at least two elite pitchers to have a chance.

Just got home from funeral home, what I miss?

At this point, it's all about pitching. Five runs is enough to beat the Tigers. If the Tigers make it to the World Series, and that's a big if, any team scoring five runs against them will win.

Hot seat? LSU has an athletic budget 3 times the size of the rest of the BR Regional programs COMBINED.

Yeah, it’s going to be tough to go up against SEC programs with almost unlimited athletic resources each Regional. Get out of those things is going to be a bear.

And if he is on the hot seat, knowing our athletic budget situation, who the hell would you suggest we bring in to guarantee wins vs the LSUs, Ole Miss’s and the Alabama’s of the softball world?

Sam Landry #4 recruit in the nation. Before the Kentucky transfer was even though of Glasco said he expected Landry to be the ace as a freshman. Now with the transfer coming in and the development of Lamb he may think differently. Landry was hitting 69 to 70 in high school this year. We could also get another top notch pitcher via the portal. We have the hs kid from Destrehan coming in who is very good. Also 2 pitchers red shirted this year. The key will be getting a good pitching coach to coach up the current and incoming pitchers.

Blah, blah, blah. Tell that to Coastal Carolinas baseball team that won a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP less than 10 years ago. It can and has been done. Why not us?

Picked up Jourdan Campbell from Texas A&M. The Cajuns have had good luck with A&M kids. Hudek, Milligan and Alderink.
