Not really on Dixon, but this musical pitcher thing to close out games that are seemingly in hand is still confusing. Why make life more difficult on yourself? Just finish the darn game and move on. Don’t chance it.

I know it’s the post season and you’re playing knowing you need to win 2 tomorrow, but it’s all season with this. May not be anything today with Lamb pitching on point, but I’d like to know how many runs we’ve given up overall after pulling our starter with a large lead.

Was more a comment on the season as a whole. Not just today. Even when pitchers are rested and rolling they get pulled. I know fatigue was a factor today.
