No, we were co-champs but win tie breaker with UTA for #1 seed

In the other groups, just pick whoever you think would be easiest to beat in a semi or final, I suppose just the lower seed.

In our group, you root for the team you feel you're more likely to beat, in the game today.

Because we didnt play everyone, it's hard to say that we should beat x team. The east teams seem to be better in general, so maybe pull for the lower west teams. Really its just preference. You have to win the right game in your group then 2 KO games.

For me, it is easy. We want Texas State. Appalachian State did not throw their #2 starter (Saturday starter for much of the season) last weekend ... Quinton Martinez ... and will be starting him tonight vs. Texas State and Zachary Leigh (most likely). App State is saving ace Tyler Tuthill for the Cajuns Thursday ... also allowing him a full week of rest. I would much rather have an elimination game vs. Texas State and Zeke Wood than App State and Tyler Tuthill. Not even close.
