  1. #1

UL Softball SB Louisiana to the BR Regional

One source has just posted there regional "projections" keep in mind they are not the ncaa and they are projections only. But they are usually accurate.

    LSU #8 national seed
    Louisiana
    Baylor
    Mcneese

Would meet the #9 seed Washington regional winner.
    Notre Dame
    BYU
    Seattle

Texas State the #2 seed in Oklahoma Regional. Oklahoma is #2 national seed.

Troy the #3 seed in Florida Regional. Florida is the #3 national seed.

South Alabama the #3 seed in Alabama Regional. Alabama is the #4 national seed.

We will see how it all goes down tomorrow.

Tough regionals; but great to see 4 SBC teams projected in.

SunBelt deserves at least 3 bids, 4 would be great. Football and softball have really improved in the last few years ... basketball and baseball, not so much.

We deserve to be in a lower ranked regional. As much as I'd like to beat the tiggers in BR, or ranking and season deserves respect?

Going to a regional in Baton Rouge has its pluses and minuses.

First, the minus. If Baylor goes, it's going to be very, very tough on the Cajuns. The Cajuns do not match up well with Baylor.

The Big Plus. If the Cajuns win it, the Cajuns will host... At Tiger Park! Can you imagine how the people who run the park would feel about having to host a super regional for the Cajuns? It would be one of the greatest things to ever happen for Ragin Cajun athletics.

Get ready to be ULL’d and Lafayette’d to death. Of course, we know what that means. And how to deal with it. If they ain’t hating, you ain’t doing it right.

It might be one of those super regionals where the locker rooms are locked and there are no concessions.

Wasn’t there an email floating around here from someone in the LSUAM office and the SEC network about what to call us the last time we were in their regional?

Hopefully we end up in Austin. But going to BR and winning would be nice.

Are you sure? So if the Cajuns win the BR regional and LSU is the 8 national seed and Washington wins as the 9 national seed then Washington would come here? In normal years, unseeded regional winners would travel to lower seeded host (i.e. unseeded Cajuns and #9 Washington). I think the same will likely be the case here. The eight supers hosts will be determined by the committee on monday after regionals.

Yes. I'm sure. I want the Cajuns to go to Baton Rouge, but, only if LSU is a number eight seed. If LSU is higher than an eight seed, I'm all for going to Texas.
