Thats why we shouldn't have a negative outlook when a student athlete leaves because the school can't fullfill the requirement.
Well I personally would not go as far as saying Craig is a idiot. He is also a great ambassador for the university. However in this case I don't agree with him that we just brush a kid off without knowing all the facts. Especially a kid who has also acted 1st class for her team, teammates and the university. Trust me Carrie bleeds vermilion and red.
Perhaps he and the coaching staff have come to the conclusion that in the condition he is in at this time he is more of a liability to the team if he is on the mound. It has become obvious that neither he or the UL coaches have been able to figure a fix to his issues of control over the past two years. Do you really want him on the mound? Maybe they have told him that he will not get on the mound again at Louisiana. He has a limited time to work on his issues before the draft. If he still wants to pursue his dreams and he will not be pitching for Louisiana, did he really quit or did his coaches quit on him or maybe did they together agree that this was the best route for both him and the team?
Yeah I am sure the standard and culture around the program is for coaches to quit on there players. I ain't buying that. If they agree on that route they would have made it happen a long time ago to give him more time to prepare. vic he flat out quit the team. SB staff told kids in softball that they would red shirt and we had to pull there redshirt on 3 different kids? Dont make excuses for him quiting. No way would I go to war with him.
