Equally as HOT
Brennan Breaux is on a tear as well for Louisiana. Dating back to the Coastal Carolina series, Breaux is hitting .384 (28-for-73). Going into that game against Coastal, Breaux was hitting .218 and has nearly raised his batting average (.312) .100 points since then.

LSWA Hitter of the Week
Louisiana's Connor Kimple was named the LSWA Hitter of the Week for his performance against North Alabama over the weekend. In the three games, Kimple went an impressive 7-for-9 (.778) at the plate. Kimple posted five total RBI on the weekend and gave himself up in three sacrifice plays as well. The junior had two perfect days on the weekend, going 4-for-4 on Friday night and 2-for-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Scouting the enemy
UTA enters the weekend owning the best Sun Belt West record of 11-7. The UTA pitching staff powers the team, led by Carlos Tevera, the conference leader in strikeouts.
