Thread: Ciara Bryan Drafted by Athletes Unlimited

  1. #1

NFL, NBA, MLB Ciara Bryan Drafted by Athletes Unlimited

Last night Ciara Bryan was one of 12 college seniors drafted by Athletes Unlimited during the organization’s first ever Softball College Draft. This will be the second season for AU. Each week a new team captain is selected based on a points system & they then ‘draft’ a team for that week. This is awesome, so excited for Ciara to get this opportunity & for us to watch her continue her career!

Big honor for sure. We have some girls with some deep postseason experience on the Cajuns roster. Hopefully we will make a deep run and we can see that emotion and fire come out. Bryan and Piskos will definitely provide the energy!

Yeah and don’t sleep on Alderink, that kid is an offensive spark plug! Anytime she gets a double her enthusiasm pumps me the heck up! Talley has great energy too, we just need to start clicking in all facets! LFG Cajuns!!!

Didn’t know where to post his & didnt want to start a whole new thread. Anyone else see/hear that Abby Trahan is no longer on the roster for NC State?? Senior pitcher from Kaplan. You hate to see it. She played for coach Patrick-Swift at Saint Francis & later followed her to NC State. Trahan was their ace & had some key wins this season like vs the Baton Rouge Tigers

I know Abby well. My daughter dated her brother. Always wished she could have been a Cajun.

Kaplan softball has had some really good teams for as long as I can remember. It’s disappointing any time a LA school misses out on in-state talent but she seemed happy with where she landed. She had some big moments this year & I bet that win over LSU felt so awesome.

This paragraph was on an article about their win over UNC yesterday.

One has to wonder what happened between the FSU series and the Duke series which led to 6 State players being suspended for the first three games of the Duke series and then maybe ultimately to Trahan leaving the team.
