……..The BATTLE FOR THE NAME IS NOT OVER……it goes on every day on different boards and in sports pages, including in Louisiana……along with the name the abbreviation part is still confusing…..for instance I didn’t realize that LA was an allowable sub for UL….there are those that know much more on the matter than I…..but the fight continues especially by those that hate us!

Yep, definitely wasn't suggesting that all aspects of the battle are over. But most major sports outlets refer to us as Louisiana because we have specifically branded ourselves that way, which a big shift in the what has true when Battle for a Name was written.

I would say LA is a substitute for Louisiana when space is is at a premium.
