Things were looking alright with two outs in the top of the fifth inning.
UL was leading 2-1 with ace right-hander Spencer Arrighetti on the hill and he had just retired the first two hitters in the frame and 11 straight overall.

.... I Remember Jesuit winning the 1960 American Legion WS and the culprit was the opponent’s catcher leaning on certain pitches..... heard that Durke was also being figured out about his pitches before delivery! Just thinking checks.... who calls the pitch and is it obvious because of the book on the hitter (lucky guesses)..... movement by infielders before pitch..... Anything pre pitch or even delivery..... catcher movement as mentioned..... signs from bench or catcher... reading lips ( coaching at St Louis HS spring game my player read the lips of the opposing coach... it helps) lol..... ok guys the one with a solution gets free seats next year and let’s Cajuns win the tourney!!!
