Player of the year stats that we are accustom to. Do you really feel that she is having a Dalton of old year. She doesn't have the mobility she had last couple of years. I'm not saying she is a bust but she's not playing to the standard she has the last couple of years. Now if you feel my observation of her is a knock on her and what she has accomplished here I'm telling you you're wrong with that assessment.
Never said nor do I feel like you were knocking her. Her stats are comparable to previous years stats after 29 games. You say she doesn't have the mobility but she has stole 8 bases and only has 4 errors. What I think you are trying to say is you feel that if she should would have been in better shape her numbers may be even better than what they are?
Big innings happen against top competition too, and it can snowball after miscues. Yes with better teams it is tougher, it just means you have to execute better. If your best pitcher is a rise ball pitcher and you are facing a HR hitting team in a series, you still throw that pitcher and she needs to be more precise with her pitching.
I fully support Glasco being aggressive and putting pressure on other teams. It is a long term plus, IMO. However, he needs to be more precise against really good teams when pushing that aggressiveness. It is definitely not a full stop, because that puts zero pressure on them.
