    UL Softball Cajuns softball transfer

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will apparently be adding another talented pitcher to their 2022 softball roster.

Meghan Schorman, who pitched parts of two seasons (2019-2020) at Kentucky, shared on social media on Tuesday that she is transferring to Louisiana.

A good pitcher transfer definitely has an opportunity to walk into an immediate contender.

With Meghan Schorman who throws 68/69, Lamb that keeps developing, the Landry kid coming in who also throws 68/69 and is the #4 pitcher in the country along with Dixon, Foreman, Snow(redshirted), Rodgers(redshirted) and I think three class of 22 pitchers coming in we should be in good shape. And there is always a chance we just may pick up another transfer pitcher. Good times ahead for the program.

Coach has gone to Heath in the circle a number of times in the season and it appears that this has not worked out as he has hoped. It was obvious that he saw much potential in her by the number of times he has tried her. What do you think is the reason that she has not been as successful as Coach had hoped?

She has become a good hitter, they may be concentrating on that aspect of her game instead of pitching.

She has been successful as she is undefeated in her career. On a serious note not sure. I believe there is potential and with her missing all of January that set her back big time. So with Lamb and Eleyson eating up the majority of the innings I don't think we will see her pitching much unless it is mop up duty. As for as batting I think she is coming around and she does supply power. Maybe next year she will just bat or just hit. We will have to wait and see.

With the pitching for 2022 dont be surprised to see Heath concentrate on hitting more.
