Risk/Reward play. Works more often than not. The Cajuns basically want the catcher to not throw the ball or throw the ball into left field. I like the agressive base running makes teams feel the pressure right away. Talley and Gortarez both swinging hot bats.

I understand the strategy but don't like it with no outs and one of your best hitters at the plate. She's probably gonna score anyway.

With Talley speed yes. I think its more of just letting G State know that we have speed and will push the envelope. It cost us a run, but we should win easy today regardless.
