Whether they are wins or losses, they affect the RPI the same as any other win/loss (assuming home/road is same). So for example ...
Going 2-1 vs. Texas State the prior weekend and 3-0 vs. UNA is the same as ...
going 3-0 vs. Texas State and 2-1 vs. UNA.
It is adding them to our SOS that kills the RPI. Wins and losses are interchangeable taking into account home/road.

Didn’t take long to jump 30 spots. Warrennolan has us at 40.
I'm not going to say the RPI is now irrelevant, but the RPI is now irrelevant.
The Sun Belt is a one bid league for the foreseeable future.
Not only is the bottom of the league bad (right now only three teams in top 100), but the emergence of the Big 10 is taking most of the at large bids away.
Let's say hypothetically:
ACC and SEC each get ten teams in regionals. Pac-12 gets 5 and the big 12 gets six. The Big ten gets five.
That's 31 of the 34 at large bids gone. The American, CUSA, Sun Belt and Big West fight for the final four bids.
It's gonna be hard for this league to get more than one bid.
Big 10 is playing conference only this season. If they get 5 at large bids in baseball then the g5 should split off from the p5 because it’s all BS.
