Pitching was impressive, but I go back to defense. USA left more people on base than us the first two games. One error could’ve led to big innings.

Our pitching was better than it has been, but I really think it wasn’t that bad before, just not supported. It is difficult to pitch if you feel you need to strike everyone out.

If we avoid gifting runs, this team will succeed.
