    Half of you guys said we needed to hire Deggs to fix everything 3 years ago now we can’t even give him a full season to turn things around. Not sure if its funny or sad the way some have zero patience. If we could only go back and read some of the early Napier threads on the old RP.

    No one wants to build anything these days. Expect zero growing pains and automatic success, but that’s the society we now live in.

    I remember those of which you speak. The diversity of opinion ran the gamut then too.

    Deggs’ first season at SHSU consisted of a 31-28 record. Two years later, he was playing Florida State in a Super Regional.

    He will get it done here. It just takes a little time.

    I think a year of no competition is affecting what we are seeing. You can practice all you want but it's just not the same. Let's see what happens next year. I'm just happy to be able to go to a game

    A successful Gulf of Mexico energy company built there entire company philosophy on that speech and their company name as well. They have had tough times as most in that first have recently but have survived and are coming back.
