Coming off its first victory of the Spring season, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team heads west to the Lone Star State to face No. 12th-ranked Texas A&M on Saturday at Ellis Field.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The contest will be available on SEC Network Plus. Live stats will be available at 12thMan.com.

Louisiana (10-7-1) reached the 10-win mark for the second time in school history after posting a 3-0 victory over in-state foe Nicholls on Thursday. Lizzie Mayfield, Hailey Daigle and Karleen Bedre each scored goals for Louisiana while Lauryn Starwood stopped a pair of shots in earning her eighth victory of the season.

Mayfield (6 goals, 6 assists) and Bedre (3 goals, 4 assists) are Louisiana's top scorers with Hailey Hoffmann (3 goals), Gwen Mummert (2 goals, 2 assists) and Alyssa Abbott (2 goals, 1 assist) all entering the scoring column.

The meeting against A&M (8-3-0, 7-1-0 SEC) will be the first between the schools on the pitch and Louisiana's third against an SEC opponent during the spring. The Ragin' Cajuns opened its five-match Spring schedule against Alabama on Feb. 26 before playing at Mississippi State on Feb. 28.

Texas A&M opened its spring on Monday with a 3-2 loss in overtime at Rice. The Aggies scored two goals in a span of 13 seconds to take an early 2-0 lead before Rice rallied twice to tie the match before scoring the golden goal with 17 seconds left in the first overtime period.

The Aggies, who played without SEC Freshman of the Year Barbara Olivieri along with key offensive pieces in Kate Colvin and Ali Russell, are making a push towards their 26th consecutive NCAA Division I Championship appearance and are one of only four teams to play in every national tournament since 1995.
